Founded in 1962 in Merano, Italy, FLOS originated as a creative space for architects and designers to innovate the lighting industry.

Taking its name form the latin word for 'flower', the design house is known for the iconic collection of lighting pieces that have stood the test of time, such as the Snoopy and the Acro floor lamp, while continually reimagining how light can be presented in our spaces.

With the foundations being created by design masters Achille Castiglioni, Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and Tobia Scarpa, the company's core value of collaborating with fresh and renowned design talent has cultivated a collection of award winning designs. ​​
