Our Team currently consists of the Director of inHOOS, Karen, and the Showroom Manager, Eleni.
We bring our expertise from various design fields together, to make sure you will receive exceptional customer service and advice, tailor-made for your needs.

About me
I moved back to Glasgow where I was born, after living in Suffolk for the past 30 years and opened my first store, HOOS, in July 2016. HOOS was my first venture into retail after a career in the voluntary sector working with Children and Families. I have loved almost every moment of it, working with great brands and the most amazing team!
inHOOS emerged during covid and has already established a reputation in Glasgow, offering a selection of furniture, lighting, textiles and accessories from prestigious Danish design houses. It is a beautiful spacious showroom with huge display windows and parking outside – a big bonus in the West End.

I love the quality and functionality of Danish design, hence I decided to focus on Danish Brands. Simplicity is usually the key and of course designers in Denmark have produced some of the most iconic design classics which are still on top of everyone’s list to this day. I love going to Copenhagen to "3 Days of Design" each June and meeting with our UK agents - it’s a joy to be part of this creative industry and I have found the whole world of retail to be very supportive and full of lovely people.

My Role
As director of two stores, you will usually find me moving between the two showrooms, attending meetings with designers and agents, searching for new brands to showcase, curating our spaces and interacting with our lovely clients. Of course, taking care of my team is priority and I work hard on keeping everyone feel happy and valued. I aim to be as involved in the shops as everyone else and we split responsibilities according to what each one of us knows to do best.

About me
I am an architect at heart, design addict and colour advocate. Having graduated from Architecture School in 2016 in Thessaloniki Greece, I found myself working for the architecture studio "Space&Matter" in Amsterdam until 2018. I then relocated to London to work for my icon, Tom Dixon, at his Kings Cross headquarters as a retail supervisor and three years later life brought me to Glasgow to pursue a Masters in Interior Design at Glasgow School of Art, which I completed in 2022 with honours.
I joined the amazing HOOS Team in October ’22 and have ever since been welcoming our lovely clients at our furniture & lighting sister store, inHOOS. When not at work, you will find me searching for breathtaking landscapes and fascinating food, or exploring the world. Since the early days in my career I showed an interest in the retail aspect of design and therefore here I am today, managing the most beautiful showroom in Glasgow!

My Role
My day-to-day responsibilities include sales, design consultation, administration, visual merchandising, website maintenance and social media management. Most importantly, I work closely with commercial and residential clients to help their project come to life, utilising my background in architecture and interior design for expert advice. I have been exposed in the industry for ten years now and never miss a chance to visit Salone del Mobile in Milan or other design fairs to enhance my perspective on design.

Being a huge fan of colour, I am obsessed with HAY! For that same reason, I also fell in love with the new Paul Smith Candle range.
